Been using my Passport SE for the last two days. Everything seems to be fine. Since I'm addicted to this device I'm constantly on it and the device gets warm. Is this normal? I get about 13-15 hours on battery. Not sure whether the heat is normal for others who use the phone heavily.

Your device will get warm especially when you download a new app.
Rebooting your device will solve your issue.

You should reboot your device at least once a week anyway and always after installing apps or upgrades!

There's also the "New Device" factor. Right now you are constantly using your new device because of its newness. After a time, maybe you will be able to put the Passport down for a few minutes haha. My Passport is not very often warm to the touch, but it can be noticed after a new app install, playing a game or anything else that is resource intensive.

I should also mention... if it gets too hot to handle, hang up and dial 911

Not sure if this is related, but I read that quite a few passport users don't experience the overheating issue anymore with the latest OS leak (10.3.2.2813).. I can't verify because I don't own a passport...yet..lol..

Considering you don't actually have a Passport It's really not related unless, of course, you read it in the National Enquirer or heard it from Oprah, in which case ....

Does my Passport get warm? Only next to a 9900 wearing perfume. Seriously, after a 90 minute BBM Meetings session, yeah, a little. Other than that, no.

My SE got very warm the first 48 hours, that's when I was using it a lot and installed few apps.

On the 3rd day runs 'normal' or cool I would say.

    Cheers.

Mine is warm right now. I've been constantly on it all day obsessively reading about some local politics. I just plugged it in after the 14th hour since I unplugged it because the battery was around 30%.

So yeah, warm is normal for heavy use.

My Passport is really overheating and that's no joke. This bad behavior has sort of started 2 weeks ago without obvious reasons.

Is it hardware or software problem? The only real software issue I can't think of is the fact I'm using Blend application more since I have replaced my very reliable Playbook with a new Android tablet because of obsolescence.

Any useful hint from anyone ? Thanks in advance.

Both Passports I've owned have gotten extremely hot in the top right, especially when using android apps or browsing content heavy Web pages. My first Passport got so hot the screen came off slightly in the top right. So far it hasn't happened with this new one, but I feel it's only a matter of time.
