Yes passport supports 4G network. Check other 4G sim cards in passport like Airtel, Idea or Jio. If passport work fine with these sim then there might be 4G band issue. As per the Blackberry website, blackberry passport supports FD-LTE 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 13, 17, 20
(2100/1900/1800/1700/850/2600/900/700/700/800 MHz)

They are many improvements that a network carrier should do in order to regulate the data and coverage flow! I am using a Original Passport wich I bought it through shopblackberry here in US! After some months I decided to go in my country for a short visit and grabbed a vodafone sim card. Immediately I noticed that the 4G LTE wasn't working, only the 4G wich was slower data connection than the 3G, but no LTE at all. I contacted costumer service and they told me that if I would have a samsung S6 or an iphone 6S the LTE network will work. I got irritated and told her: Yea and if my aunt have some balls she would be my uncle! End of story I didnt understand very well because there is no way than the LTE works in some devices and if some others not, unless they dont support it, but the passport does so I hang up the phone because I couldnt make it anymore when a vodafone representative from tech team who heard for the blackberry passport told me that they need a BIS plan. Totally nervous later!
am using jio and it does not work with black berry passport and it work with all other mobiles can you please tell me if any network changes to be made in mobile
