    Mine did not!

I cannot figure it out what is missing?
Was it the cable or the storage?
    Or the settings?

    BTW I'm version 10.3.3.2163.

    Thank you anyway!

    It maybe your cable?
Sometimes mine needs a re-boot to recognise the OTG cable

No limit but I believe that the USB stick must be formatted in fat32 or exfat. NTFS format will not work.

    Exactly!
Fat 32 is not good with bigger than 64 also most manufacturers use exfat as default on cards bigger than 64(i.e 128 or so)

The cable worked on my friend's android but not on my Pa'ssport though I have rebooted it many times. Even tried an 8GB thumb drive but still it didn't work.

If you're getting data connection with your computer, then I don't believe it's a hardware problem. Maybe do a latest autoloader?

I've had good luck using a StarTech OTG with the miniature-size SanDisk Cruzer Fit flash drive, got both at Amazon. It's worked reliably on the Passport with no special setup needed.

    Guys thanks alot!
    I really appreciated your help!

I found out lately that there is a slight loose contact on my OTG cable when used with my Passport. However it worked with my friend's android. . Tried his OTG adapter then amazingly it worked.
Maybe the salty air and moisture have ruined the microUSB connector side since I worked onboard a boat. Also the cable is almost 5yr old.
    Case solved and closed.

    Once again, thank you guys!!
