Hi, why shouldn't I fear that the nightmode clock burns into the screen?
Second question: The black background isn't really black, compared to the daydream modebof the priv. Is the screen worse?

Passport doesn't use led screen like the Priv, therefore it's not a true black like the Priv.
Also I've always feared burnin with blackberry but never experienced it personally.

LCD vs LED: actual blacks versus daytime usability.

Correct. But for clarification, the Priv is OLED which is why the blacks can actually turn off pixels.

Burn in was a matter of concern with cathode ray tube technology displays. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cathode_ray_tube

Don't worry about it unless you are using an antique display that looks like an old TV with picture tube. Definitely don't worry about it with your BlackBerry.

Thx. I fear, people who grew up with CRT screens, will always fear burning!

EDIT: But anyway, is it possible to turn off the screen when activating the nightmode using this swipe down gesture?
