Does the Blackberry Passport keyboard ever become as functional and comfortable as the keyboard on the Blackberry Classic or Q10?

I am stuck trying to decide between devices as both were just released here in Colombia. I love the display on the Passport but equally love the Classic physical keyboard. Obviously, the screen size will never change on the Classic, but both have physical keyboards. I am sure we can all agree the typing experience on the Q10, or Bold 9900 was un-matched (I assume the Classic is the same). But, I am just curious. Does the Passport keyboard become as functional, efficient and comfortable to type on over time as it is on other devices with full keyboards?

What have you Passport or multi-device owners found?

I found after a few days I was typing faster and more accurately. I personally love they keyboard. I would buy a passport with a four row keyboard in a heartbeat though.

I honestly prefer the passport keyboard. It may take 7-10 days to get used to, but once you get passed that you will be flying. Ive owned/tried the q10 and 9900 and think the passport is way more comfortable and accurate, because of key size.

I came to the passport from the HP Pre 3 webOS with slider keyboard which was excellent with full rows, shift, etc. I missed it terribly ...for around 2 days ...this thing has a keyboard beyond belief & you don't have to lift your thumbs off to scroll, delete, edit, etc. as the capacitive feature does all that & more ...nobody else has this !!

I love the passport keyboard. It did take a week to get used to it though. I an constantly going between my Z30 and the passport and the passport wins for least errors typing.

    This exactly ^

The other day I pulled out my old 9930 and 9650, had quite a laughter trying to type on them, literally felt like a little toddler's toy--and to think I used to type on those phones! HA!

We've truly been spoiled by the Passport my brethren!

Great stuff in here. Thank you for the replies. The display was stunning, but the keyboard had me with my concerns. I have to believe the scrolling on the keyboard face feels so natural. I saw a video for it and have always picked up other devices wondering why they did not think of it earlier. Just seems to work.

Looking forward to getting my Passport.

It has taken me a bit longer to get up to speed. Was missing the ALT key for numbers for a while and had to get use to the smaller space bar no real biggies there. You will adapt.

What is great about the Passport is I use it for so much more than my Q10. It has replaced 90% of what I used to use my to do on iPad mini.
