Hey, Is it true that running android apps on Blackberry 10 consume more energy than regular apps?

I'm using Passport, and as some apps like Viber or Momondo and... have not been built for BB10, I'm using android based apps.

Yes particularly apps that rely on GPS or sync will suck down battery like no ones business.

For sure. Especially with games, you can feel the battery starts to heat up. But then even Android phones heats up when you play intensive games on their phones as well.
