Sometimes I have to swipe several times to open my Passport up. I put a glass screen protector on it. Could that be the problem?

Yes and no. Depending on the quality of your glass screen protector.

If it was fine before hand it is definitely your glass screen protector.

It's a Seidio. And I only have problems waking it up. It's fine once it's up.

I almost always have to do a couple of swipes to wake my Passport and I don't have a screen protector.
Occassionaly it'll wake on the first swipe. It seems to depend on the starting point and length of swipe. Starting at the bottom centre of the screen and using a short swipe seems to usually wake it on the first try.

I'll experiment with shorter strokes. I have been making long strokes all the way to the top of the screen.

Yeah I usually swipe at the center going up a inch or so.

It's actually like a flick going up. The swipe with a finger doesnt wake up the device for me.

Try just pressing U on keyboard. That's much easier.

I don't swipe that much when activating my PP, because I use the Lift To Wake functionality.

I find that can also sometimes be slow.

I find it gets less responsive over time, but a reboot solves it, almost like a throwback to the battery pull.

I also found it to be too slow. When I had it activated, I often ended up pressing the power button because I think it didn't register the Lift To Wake but then I just end up turning off/on the screen a couple times by accident because the phone is playing catch up.
