Hi everyone. I am an iOS user. I want to switch to the passport but I need some apps to work on the phone.
Communication apps : GroupMe, FB messenger & Whatsapp
Microsoft apps : Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote because I am an office 365 user , Sunrise calendar

And finally which method is better for android apps : cobalt's Google play or snap ?

    Thanks guys !

I would suggest purchasing SunCalc and WhatsApp does work. I'm not sure about the rest as I'm not a user of them.

Blackberry has their DocsToGo which does all the word, Excel, etc great! OneNote is available, Whatsapp is too.

I use Snap and have no problems.

FB Messenger is still baked in to BlackBerry's Facebook app.

You can only run the older Microsoft Office Mobile app. The newer office suite requires a version of Android that BB10 does not support.

As a BlackBerry Passport user, I want you to experience the wonder of BlackBerry Passport... but if you are heavily relaying in apps, I'm afraid you will not feel that 'experience'...

If you can manage to get that '30-day return policy', get Passport and see if it is suited to you and your needs...

I also have office 360 but I don't evenbother on the Passport. The built in apps work fine for me but I mostly only view Office docs on my phone. When I have to do more serious spreadsheets, I use my laptop.

That said, since someone said office for android works, maybe I will try it.

    Hello Conite,

Could you please give me a place or web site to download the working version of the older Microsoft Office Mobile app, I would like to have it before is too late.

    Thanks

It's still available at the Google Play Store.

Yes, Docs To Go works so great with all of my documents on OneDrive (I'm paying for 365 as well) although I do only use word documents, so I can't really comment on Excel and PwP in Docs To Go but in YouTube reviews of the PP they seem to work very well too.

And yes, my mum and I use OneNote from Snap, works great, although first time syncing after installing OneNote is pretty slow, but after that it hardly ever lags or at least no worse than on other devices, it's snappy most of the time.

Fortunately I'm not heavily relying in apps. There is always an alternative. Docs to go does the job, WhatsApp works, GroupMe too. That's all I need. I think I will buy it.
If people knew what blackberry 10 really is, blackberry would sell more phones.
