I am with Movistar in Argentina and I was able to receive this update by checking for it. WiFi calling was already working for me prior to this update and still works now. Hopefully blackberry will be letting us know exactly what's changed and what fixes this update brought.

I would wager that would be the wifi call feature. If so, you must be on AT&T.

XL atau Simpati sepertinya bisa tuh. Dia punya free wifi zone 3/4 wilayah Jakarta. Tapi XL jaringannya kacrut abis. Mungkin sebenarnya sudah bisa, cuma pada belum tau atau belum ada jalan monetizingnya.

I've updated. Noticed a couple of issues are still present.

Blend still chews up the CPU and prevents SMS from working properly. Needs to be closed from device manager.
Many (most?) facebook posts still 'could not be loaded' from the Hub.

Those were the two big things that were ticking me off. Too bad no progress.

How long did it take to complete the update? Is 2 hours + normal or an issue has come up?

Mine seems to be going on for over 2 hours now. I did it over wifi and phone plugged in and I chose to "re-start now" when the option popped up. For over 1 hour I see a black screen, with the blue box lit up and states at the bottom "Installing update" and after 10 seconds I see "Finalizing device setup" and does back and forth.

I take it I have encountered an issue while the phone is updating the OS and if so, what should I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Should I do a hard reset?

I don't know what has happened with your update but I can tell you that for me the installation process was no more than 20 minutes. I have an unlocked og passport bought from amazon USA and brought to Argentina to be used with movistar I did my update ota

Look at the thread on the crackberry homepage. The improvements are listed. Camera has improved in low light and it focuses faster.
Some people also report running android apps much faster. I don't use android apps, so I cannot comment on that.

Installed this morning via BB Link (after backing up of course) , but it did also show OTA last night. OG unlocked Passport. Took about 20 minutes. Camera focus is quicker, was worried a little bit at first about my android apps (Instagram, Pinterest, Vine, banking, MLB, other Sports Tracking) as I got the GP services error. I opened Play Store (Cobalt Version) , it came up fine and then all of the apps were good to go. It may be my imagination, but they seem to work better than they did under 10.3.2.2474.

Hey Rob,

The same thing happened to me. I waited only 5 minutes however and after that just did a restart by holding the power button for more than 10secs or whatever.

The Passport restarted and greeted me with a welcome message that the update has completed and all is great.

So if you don't mind the risk, maybe do what I did.

So, what is actually changed in this update?

Performance of BB10 and Android runtime is upped, no more lag on call hang-up, the Foursquare app got a new design mainly in the Edit screen. Booting the phone also seems a bit faster.
