5 years down the line i'll surely miss a honest to goodness RIM BB10 device with solid build quality, amazing loud speakers & and an OS which is light years ahead. (yeah there were a few rotten apples with screen lifts etc. So do rotten apples within apples basket turn rotten with iwatches melting & iapple fone's bending. Besides being plugged into power half a day)

I purchased passport se few days back. Just wondering if I made a correct choice. The world is full of droids and iphones and I myself used iphone earlier. Got fed up with the battery performance.

Any other with the same feeling of buying a phone with not much market??

Does it do what you need it to do? I have the original Passport and have no app deficiencies, and can get two days in a pinch from my battery. I've tried iOS and Android and they fall short for me.

I use the same setup as you would. I use my BlackBerry as the daily driver and then use the 6Plus and my iPad for all the apps that I want to have. The phone is a beast. Haven't charged it since Friday morning and device monitor says I have 12 hours left and it's Sunday.

You can with the right adapter (cheaply from ebay also) and I would rather have the port on the bottom just the way it is.
I have the adapter and as trivial as it may seem would also prefer a separate HDMI port.

I see what you did there lol

I'm not a power user by any means so this phone lasts forever for me. I call text, email, and do things for school on here. I feel like the phone lasts forever.

LOL. I've the same. I rarely leave the Battery Saving Mode. I dare to leave the house with less than 20% knowing I'll be gone for more than 12 hours before I'll be able to juice up.

The battery is so good I'll often forget to juice up. My battery range often hangs between 20-70%. Whenever I do have a full battery, the phone doesn't see the charger for at least 2 days.

    Yep!

The biggest adjustments for me (from Q10, and lots of Bolds before that), were:
    • small spacebar
    • no Alt, Sym, or Shift keys (this really threw me for the first couple of days)

I was always quite speedy typing on my previous BlackBerry's, but the speed & accuracy of typing on the Passport is definitely a notch or two higher - colleagues are always impressed by how quickly I can knock out a cogent & detailed email, even when we're on the train or the airport bus....

Yeah, I will occasionally hit the "b" when I want a space.

-- but, yeah; I can fly on the SE kb! The wider kb (relative to the Bold) more than makes up for the smaller spacebar, imo

Passport SE: All the snooty prestige of a device with a precious metal in the name at less than half the price!

I just bought a PPSE 3 days ago coming from Z30. Well, it blows my Z30 away in every way.
Not much of a media consumer, so I know that I have made a right choice. Gonna have 3 more happy year with the PPSE.

Why would you want to go to the dark side? stick with BB10.

It doesn't matter what you've used and you're using as 95 percent of the folks out here generally are used to IOS and droid ecosytem and they come over to this forum purely to share their love for BlackBerry 10 and it's hardware and are inquisitive which I believe is what exactly you're showing out here in the forum.

The choice is very personal and no one can force you or no need for saying it is a bad choice over others or maybe it's a bad choice etc.. what works for you is what you should love.

For me bb10 works the best and I love it more than anything else on my Q10.

    Period!

The only bad thing about the Passport SE is its addiction factor. I must unglue myself from it from time to time.

If you were expecting it to get updates and modern apps then yes, you did get cheated. If you expecting the passport for all the reasons the passport is good then no you were not. Be a leader not a follower.
