Using the Citrix Receiver app from Blackberry World. Add an app using the server address: https://bba.bloomberg.net/
and select the web interface. For the description put in Bloomberg Anywhere (but can be anything) and then press save. Then run the app. You will need your B-Unit to run Bloomberg Anywhere. After entering your B-Unit code it will take 30-60 seconds to launch but then Bloomberg runs smoothly.

I get stuck in the Citrix setup with error saying it can't verify server address and asks for manual setup.

What do I need to do here?

Select manual and then check the web interface box. In the description field I call it Bloomberg Anywhere.

I've been doing this since the Playbook. Passport is the first device that has the horse to run it really well. Even launchpad works.

Got it to work. Incredible!! I haven't figured out how to do the function keys though, such as F8 Equity when trying to get stock prices.
Otherwise this is a full functioning Bloomberg terminal. Thanks for showing

Does this require Citrix on my PC?

    Sorry for the basic question.

I'd be interested with your Playbook experience. I don't see a Citrix app for that device, did you sideload one? Was it useable?

Given I have the keyboard case for the Playbook that may be a cool setup if it has the power to handle.

I'm not sure about the function keys. I think you'll have to type out the functions. Luckily the Passport has a great keyboard.

This is useful for Bloomberg Anywhere subscribers who need some functions that are not available in the mobile app and they've left their laptop or tablet behind. Being able to grab screenshots and send them out while traveling is priceless. Pressing the volume up and down button saves a screen capture.

I have not used my Playbook for some time. The Citrix app used to be available in Blackberry World when I discovered how to do this. The Playbook was able to handle a launchpad setup. It worked pretty well but is faster on the Passport.

Citrix doesn't seem available anymore on Playbook. I will hunt around for the old apk and sideload it
