Hi all, just a quick question, I have a SE that was dropped and after the drop it won't start up, while connected to the PC it's not detected and the red light is always on, is it dead or can it be recovered using this procedure?
It's not currently in my possession, so I can't try to bring it back to life, so my question is, has the drop damaged the main board?

It sounds pretty terminal, unfortunately you can't remove the battery so trying to connect without it installed is not possible, have you tried connecting it to your computer and then doing a reset by holding down the up and down volume buttons until it re-starts, if indeed it tries to re-start when you do that?

Other than that you will probably need to send it off for repair or buy a new one while they're cheap on shop BlackBerry.

I had a similar problem with my dead Q10 where the red light is constantly on. Couldn't do anything to revive it.

Probably needs someone professional to bring it back alive.
