I noticed they brought back the ability to make calls while data/wifi is disabled, which is absolutely great but I'm not sure why this wasn't extended to non-data required activities like text messaging or "open flashlight", and yet you can "play music" without data/wifi.

I sure hope they remove this restriction for the next update.

I think that Intelligent Assistant voice recognition relies on internet data to do (or at least improve) the actual recognition.
