    The BlackBerry Z30 uses an Amoled display which shows the whites as blacks for battery saving purposes. That's why by default, 'Settings', Contacts, Calendar, is Dark Theme on the Z30.

    The BlackBerry Passport uses a LCD display and it doesn't need dark displays to save battery power. But you can enable Dark Theme in BBM, Calendar, Text Messages, Contacts on the Passport.

    Usually just go into the app like calender, bbm, etc, swipe down from the top and go into the settings. You will see it!

    Great thanks. I knew about the different types of screen technology in each device.

    I just am so used to having the dark theme. I guess I'll wait for it. Hopefully, they will bring the feature to the Passport.
