    Hello guys,
I have been a BlackBerry enthusiast all my life. I own the Priv, Passport OG and SE and a couple of 8700g. While browsing ebay for a case for my priv, I noticed a BlackBerry Q10 brand new unlocked for 6400INR (approx 95$). Just couldn't resist it and ordered one. Now I use a SE as my daily driver, can I go back to the Q ??

I badly miss my bold days and I really wanna hold a BlackBerry that feels like a legacy device. Saw The DTek50 today and it just made me want the classic BlackBerry form factor even more. I know the screens too small and not bright like the passport but I miss the one handed operation of bb10 that the Q excelled in (I owned one in 2014 that I traded for the classic).I loved the Q, the looks, the form factor, the dark call log, the stealth screen etc. But that was 2014, then came the Classic in 2015 and now the passport, priv and SE.

All I'm concerned is about the performance. I know it won't be as snappy as the SE, but is there any noticeable lag? Moreover does it support 10.3.2? Did I go overboard ordering something I can't use anymore?? Please help.

P.S. No offense to all the Q10 users out there. Just because I have been using the passport for 8 months now makes me a bit worried.
    The Q is timeless .

    Thanks,
    Ashes

No problem going back. The Q10 supports the latest OS.

But coming from a Passport, you will probably be disappointed with the performance.

I know, but I just want the classic BlackBerry form factor so bad. The passport OG was great but awkward for one hand use. Moreover it was slippery naked and cases didn't do justice to the design and also a fingerprint magnet. The SE is awesome and I use it naked but somehow it doesn't have the legacy BlackBerry feel to it (in the design). It's a bit sexier than what a BlackBerry is supposed to be lol.

But on a serious note, Are the performance issues that bad??

Gosh. What did I get into? Fine. Atleast It was a good deal. I mean I never thought I would get the Q @ $95. Actually it did feel like a toy when I got the Classic. But so what, I like toys. Lol.

I'd go classic before q. Same sin card too.

Go for it. For the price you paid, you can't go wrong. Try it out and sell it for the price you paid.

If you like the q10, go for it. I don't know which issues is Cobalt referring too. Maybe you will be disappointed by the screen size...but issues...bah!!

You can, but I've had a Passport for a while and held a Q10 in May at the BlackBerry store, and it felt like a tiny toy.

Yeah just checked out a friend's Q. It did feel like a toy. The passport is really difficult for one hand use for me. One thing I'm gonna miss is the browsing experience and the capacitive pkb. But I really loved the deep blacks of the amoled screen in the Q. It's just for a while then the big silver monster returns.

Why will you miss anything? Unless you are selling off your passports, you can always switch devices. Can't you?
