BTW, they started shipping the Oct 1 orders. Just got a shipping email from that day. Asked for a discount to be applied. Might have to go back to them.

I think Mr. Chen has the bawls to look people in the eye and say "Srsly. How about 'No.'" At least I hope he does.

However this happened, I wouldn't expect them to take a 10's of thousand of dollar loss... But in the big scheme of things, what's a 5 figure oopsie between a company and it most loyal customers and advocates?

If these orders are honoured, it couldn't happen to a nicer bunch or people... But if not, I say we tar and feather anyone who expresses phony outrage at this obvious mistake not being honoured.

Place your order and let the chips fall where they may, with a "win some, lose some" attitude, and it'll be another fun memory at any rate.... Kind of like almost winning a $150 raffle.

I think the stock is coming from cancelled orders rather than new shipment. As many have cancelled the order to get discounted rates, the stock seem to come and go.

whew what an adventure. Im on att in the US. I saw this thread and combined it with the how to game the system thread and put an ad out for the iPhone 6 on craigslist, i lined up a buyer and rushed to costco to buy the iphone on contract, it wasn't at Costco for att yet, so i went to the att store, sold out, so finally i find one at Target, im inline to buy it and check the thread- OUT OF STOCK! oh MAN! hhaha well on the plus side, i didnt buy an iPhone.
