Probably you restored a backup.
Start fresh and it will switch black.

Correct. I restored with a backup through link. I did this so my password keeper would transfer over from my Q10. Is there any other way to get password keeper to transfer over without a restore?

Scratch that last question. Sounds like transferring to SD card from Q10 is the way to go then import from SD card on the passport. For contacts and calendar info, I'll use the device switch app. Then reinstall all the apps I want.

So this is the order I'll use after I restore to factory settings:

1) device switch app in Link (not app OTA) which should transfer password keeper data
2) import password keeper from SD (if not included in device switch)
3) reinstall apps

Is that the way to go?

Just an update on the device switch on Link is not the way to go either. Still won't convert it to dark theme on contacts.
