I'm using Z10 I have installed cobalt's Play Store and Google Services but Android app not working specially YouTube and Google Maps.

I have patched apps with Gmaps software. I asked people on this matter and I came to know that Z10's hardware is capable to support google services.

I'm planning to buy passport, can anyone tell me if passport is capable of running YouTube(apk app) and Google maps.

My Google Maps worked great for the last couple of months, and then the other day it stopped working via mobile network. Now it only works via WiFi...which really doesn't help me, heh.

If anyone has a fix I'm all ears!

Are you patching these apps with Cobalt's Play Service Patcher? These apps will need to be patched and perhaps Whitelisted as well.
When patched Google Maps works just fine on my Passport.

Both youtube and GMaps have been known to have issues with running on a Z10STL100-1. There is currently no resolution.

Yes, but I've only patched it once... I was under the impression that we only had to patch it once and didn't have to do it for updates. So, maybe I should delete it and try re-patching and such.

Any patched up will need to be patched again when there is an update.

What's interesting is that I only have the Google ID thing and Google account app and I can sign in to Maps and then use either the Android settings app or Ghost Commander to mute the play services notification.

Because it doesn't work anymore. 50/50 at best.

You need to do use Play Services Patcher on your PC.

Both apps work well without any Google related interruption messages. Just make sure you download the ones that are pre patched and also ensure they're the correct versions most compatible.

I own an original Black Passport and both apps work on WiFi and on the mobile network.

I don't know why people can't give straight answers for a simple question..

Blackberry Passport, Original. Wind Mobile, Toronto.
