    Thanks for response!
So then...Patching only via Cobalt and if you need GPS services like UBER app won't work from Snap.

Posted via PRIV and or Passport SE
It makes no difference from where you acquire the app. Snap and Cobalt use the identical store. But if you need to patch files you would need to setup Cobalt's solution anyway.

Another thing, I managed install Viber 5.6.5 as I read somewhere that this is the only one that works for BB Passport (downloaded an APK). Is there a better version? Something where I can close the active frame and still receive messages.

Flipboard website does not work on the native browser as well.

    I'm on OS 10.3.2.2836

    Please help.

Snap's dead, Cobalt all the way. That plus the most recent BlackBerry Runtime Update has been working well for me.

-do like the ability to save the app on my devices using V2 (sorry can't do this on Snap V3 so you are out of luck on this important feature use Cobalt's Playstore
Just in case anyone using Snap wants to back up apps, you can use APK Extractor from F-Droid to save APKs on a BB10 device.

Cobalt is ok, but if you want to stop the installation drama, go APKPure. They have most of the popular APKs available.

    Drama?

At least with Google Play Store, you get the correct variant for our Android version and screen dpi.

    Not necessarily.

GPS doesn't audit what phone you have or what your screen dpi is. I've downloaded quite a few apps that were checked by Guardian and installed and would fail on execution, so GPS is not the be-all and and end-all of what works and what doesn't work on the Passport.

As far as drama, my meaning is that if people don't want to go through the installation, they can use APKPure as an alternative to Cobalt. Nothing to pop off about...ambassador.

There are 17 variants of the latest GMaps v9.41.1. Google Play Store will download the single correct one for our devices - namely the arm32, 320dpi version. It's not guessing. The Passport gets the arm32, 400-640dpi version.

With respect to other app stores:
