    No. I have a shopblackberry Passport on Telus, no problems. You need a NFC SIM Card, and have to call to register. Follow the instructions they tell you (turn off WiFi, etc) .

    Thanks. Will have to try again. I had followed all instructions from the CIBC CSR as well as what I had read in the forums (WiFi off, Suretap SIM etc) but when it appeared that I received the notification with the credit card details the CIBC app crashed and I get the same "unable to confirm your PIN" message

    Try deleting the app and re-installing. Then call CIBC to activate again.

    I'd say it's a shame they never updated the interface of the CIBC app when they did the Android version, but honestly I prefer the older one we've got.

    I was referring to the MOBILE PAYMENT App, not the banking App. CIBC 's banking app for BB10 is garbage! It's just a Web launcher. Android banking app is way better and has picture chq deposit as well.

    So, it took a while but appears that all is sorted out. Talked to a tier 2 CSA from CIBC and he explained that in some cases, Rogers has the NFC ability locked on some accounts (paraphrasing, so I may not have stated that technically correct) and CIBC had to request Rogers to allow that ability in their system

    It works for me. If you have a previous line registered, it has to be deregistered by cibc first and then it must be registered to work

    Robert from cibc mobile payments app team helped me solve my issue with the passport. Let me know if u have issues and I will give you his email. I went directly to him after the cibc support reps couldn't help me
