Have only had my pp for about a month and I have noticed that some reviews claim it could fully charge in 2 hours, but I'm no where near that. I can maybe get the battery to charge 25-30% in that timeframe. Not sure if 2 hours is on a phone that is shut off.

I do have some android apps on my phone, but biggest power usages are display and pim services. I use a wall charger with the highest output out of the ones I have (5v - 2.1 amps) but not sure if the USB cable makes a difference here. I also currently have 28% battery left with 6 hours of usage time left.

Can people tell me their charge times and charger amperage? Any need to calibrate these batteries? Using the latest os leaked.

I have the passport from at&t and I can charge in two hours in airplane mode. As the device monitor only goes back 48 hours I can not tell how long it took to charge. Let me tell you how horrible it is two only have to charge this phone once every two days. :-D

Rosebud68....is that in airplane mode? IIRC the oem charger is only like 0.8 amps current. Crazy that u can in 2 hrs with that current delivery and I can't with about 2 amps current.

I'm wondering if this battery is somewhat defective.

Yeah, about two hours. And I hate having a battery that lasts for 24-30 hours. What a pain!!!

Where did you bought your charger?

I've bought a cheapo charger off ebay a long time ago and it was supposed to be stronger than my oem charger for my old 9700. But no way, it was very slow to charge my device.

And maybe a bad usb cable? For my 1st cellphone (lg wine) I bought a usb cable off ebay since I didnt had a cable to plug it to my computer to access my pictures.
It wouldnt even charge! But I could access my pictures.

Mine charges in only 2 hours also. But I'm using a Samsung 2.1 amp charger.
