    Hello,

As many of Passport users here are aware of overheating at the right side of the device, if I change the battery for a new one it will keep the heating issue?.

I'm thinking if this could help or not, I wanted to hear some feedback before I take the plunge for a new battery and opening my Passport.

    Thanks!

Can't really see it helping. The battery isn't really the issue. The OS itself seems largely be the cause of it.

Noooooo..... it can’t be... this goes against best device ever theory and reduces to just another BB idiosyncrasy.....

Do not do this. Save that spare battery for when the internal battery can no longer hold a full charge properly.

And make sure you're not using some rogue android app that's grinding in the background, making your Passport hot!
