Because I want to hold it in my hands first before deciding if the phone truly fits me. Need to have the real thing and test it before buying it outright. Looks like I'll just wait till stocks back.

    Hello future Malaysian passport owners!

The reason celcom has no stock is because of 3 reasons.

    1. They didn't order many. Keep in mind that only celcom carries blackberry in their stores today Maxis and digi has given up on them thus why also I'm changing to celcom.

    2. John Chen made supply very low.

    3. The little that celcom had in stock was bought by enterprise/companies very few made it to blue cube stores.

I know this because I managed to speak to a celcom enterprise executive AND managed to get 7 passports devices for myself and my friends.

Went to check out at Gurney plaza, rep there told me that they don't stock the particular model, and if I want it I'll have to order it. No demo set either.
Update: went into a Blackberry standalone stall inside Maxis shop, sales rep told that the stocks with display set will arrive within 1-2 days. Told me to come check again next week. Sweet!

I thought Maxis didn't stock BlackBerry? Well, great if they do! Nice to see they finally will get the device early November. Hopefully it will be everywhere. Like to meet/see some fellow PP owners and maybe some cool advertising!

Its a total Joke with Celcom Malaysia. The Celcom rep in charge of BB said they have more than 350,000 loyal BB customers on the Network... most of them is with Corporate accounts. They used to launch it on the Corporate accounts first. But now they are not launching on the Corporate accounts... only mass market will get it. More than 100,000 customers wanted to signup to BB Passport on Corp accounts will move to Maxis.

So please stress your anger to any Celcom rep or CEO. Make them make the Passport Available for all markets... Imagine the BB Classic is coming in December...

Perhaps John Chen should call up the Celcom CEO to stress the importance and how secure is BB. I know tons of politicians and Judges using the BB for securities of email and BBM... They are the best in what they do, a business phone....

Oh it's a standalone blackberry stall in a maxis shop? Ok maybe my description sucks but there's a authorised blackberry seller in there on Level 3 Gurney plaza old wing. Yeah am looking forward to seeing the passport in real life. *fingers crossed*

FOUND one! At Queensbay mall, LG floor at Celcom phone shop. But only one set(boxed), which was bought up instantly by yours truly. ;p. The sales rep behind the counter was so reluctant to show me the product even though I said I want to buy the phone. Sheesh. For penangnites that are interested, the other place would be at Gurney plaza (read earlier post). I shall post pics later!
