It is a bit bulky as it sits out from the waist a bit. It is a nice piece of leather and the clip is solid. There is pics of it on a guys waist somewhere in the Passport forum.

What's wrong with BB PAssport SE Flip Case?

On the pictures, it looks much better then Flip Case for original Passport (instead of sticking to the device, it just pops in, and cover plastic edges protect the device, back of the case doesn't seem slippery). I presume only real drawback is lack of some kind of hatch for the flap (magnetic or mechanic) for additional screen protection.

I didn't think about it at all.

I had leather case with flip that opens from to top (flip was connected to the case at device bottom) when I had iPhone 3GS, and it was quite handy for use (although 3GS was perfect for one-hand use) because it made device much lighter (due to counterweight of the flap). I guess, with Passport, flap hanging from the bottom of device would make two-hands usage much more pleasant and secure.

Just got this super cheap case from a Chinese seller on ebay for when I'm not using my BlackBerry holster.
Hard plastic, so it's slippery, but it was cheap and is raised in the front so has some protection, but I'm sure it will get scratches over time.
Took a couple of weeks to arrive to Toronto.
It a really tight fit in the OEM holster... it fits tight in width but the top flap doesn't seal 100% (although it does make it over).
I got it mainly for weekends when I throw my phone in my pocket.
With the case on, it does make for a more comfortable typing experience though holding the sides of the phone.

Yeah I don't plan on taking it off that often.
Plus if you pull it off from the left side (where there are no volume buttons), you can avoid friction.
