And... I can see many big-handed people using it. I remember I tried to give an old Bold to my dad and he refused, saying the screen was just too small and couldn't get used to the cramped keyboard.

Plus, people are comfortable carrying around Note devices, the Passport isn't that far fetched at all.

I can agree that the sheer size and scale of the device may turn some users away, but I can also see it attracting spec fanatics and QWERTY lovers. It also has a large screen.

It's going to be very interesting how this device plays out once it hits the market.

i don't think it's gonna be a chunky phone though. it's a PASSPORT, so the aspect ratio is exactly like your PASSPORT.

i had my passport delivered to my mail yesterday, for some reason rather than quickly opening the biodata page to check all my details, i spent quite some time to hold the passport in the palm of my hand and.. hey.. it's not too bad though. therefore i can imagine how i'm gonna hold my Passport when it's coming up.

my hand palm is just like any other asian's palm. if i can hold it, you can hold it too!

Based on the amount of discussion over this phone - good and bad opinions alike - it will almost certainly be a success if the build-quality isn't bad. Same sort of discussions came up with the Note when it was first released. The phone will draw attention, stand out, and people will buy it.

Why would liking this phone make you a fanatic. I'm excited for spreadsheet edits and pdf reading. In my opinion this device will be phenomenal in that regard. Plus I think it looks cool and it sounds like it's got great call quality and speakers. I'm excited to have new keyboard technology. It's an awesome looking device in my opinion. I'm happy it's coming. I just hope I can buy it direct from BlackBerry or Amazon.

After holding my travel passport... this form factor is totally doable.

I like the screen size, and trackpad functionality for a truly mobile RDP experience. Bring an IT Pro - I look forward to this!

And i was under impression that the porsche didn't do so well, i'm surprised it did though

I can understand that big hand people might use it but still there is just something about it that i don't like

And i was not talking about software because i am not techie person, i was on about the physical look

One good thing about the Passport is that it's for sure going to draw some attention. Between all the other phones, it is actually something all new, yet with a professional, pragmatic intention. So I'm sure quite some people will take a look at the new phone.

So, even though the Classic will probably be a great phone, I'd say that the Passport will sell better from the start, as consumers will not see it as "just another BlackBerry".

And don't worry about the size of that device. The Note series has been discussed over and over and has then turned into one of Samsung's cash cows.
