    I have suddenly noticed that my data services are ON, and Hotspot is ON, but other devices such as laptop or mobile cannot find my phone WiFi.. any idea what could be the reason?

    Try turning on Airplane mode waiting 30 seconds THEN turning it back off. If that doesn't work then try a phone restart. Power off the phone, then power it back on.

    The hotspot will time out if there are no connections to it soon after turning it on. Try turning it off and on again and then connect your laptop.
