I cannot type anything on the password screen even type number in the emergency call but i can still use the shortcut U + enter to display the password screen so I lock out of my phone. Please help me

Sometimes I met this issue as you! But I waited 1 or 2 mins everything is ok again!

i have tried turn off and on again, normal restart (hold the power button and chose restart), soft rest (hold the power button for 10 seconds) and hard reset (hold the volume button) but i still stuck at the password screen with no way to input anything

Hello I am having the same problem , have you had any luck finding a solution , mine goes to password entry screen and will not accept any password or even record incorrect entries

Mine did the same thing, finally i went into blackberry protect and reset the password there , then rebooted the passport and it came back to life and responded to the new password , hope this helps you too
