I ordered a VIP passport last Sunday for 699 from Canadian store as regular version was sold out.

Should I cancel the order and pick it up in store? My Bell store has it in stock and sells it outright.

Issue is that it's $50 more and VIP version includes a case. I've no idea when I'm getting the shipment of the VIP version I'd rather just pick the passport up in the store but I'm also a student and I'm gutted as it is for missing out on the 25% coupon.

Thoughts?

Telus doesn't have the VIP package for some reason. I would nab it in store

Just pick it up in store. If you had ordered with the coupon code then maybe it would have been worth the wait until at least the 29th. As it is, you can instead get it now... and decide whether you really wanted the hard shell case or something else.

They have to unlock it for you if you need to use it on another carrier. Just buy it now if you can't wait and can afford it!

Try cancelling the order - it is a joke! I ordered a 2nd PP VIP edition (Canada) and I have tried cancelling the order several times each time telling me that I can't because order wasn't processed yet, then I have to wait for BB to accept the order blah, blah blah. My credit card has been charged the full amount and I have no shipping date or anything - in fact, they don't even know the status of my order period. Now they said they opened some kind of ticket to investigate why my cc was charged without a shipping confirmation but that supposedly takes another 3 days. I called my bank and they said I have to wait 15 days before they can start an investigation too.

That depends if you need one now or you can wait. I did order online but it kept getting longer and longer to get. I couldn't wait so I bought mine off contract from Telus. All total it was $890.39. That was for the phone (unlocked), hard shell case and a SIM card.
