I know you can stream a TV that has DLNA, but I haven't seen many TV's with DLNA. Can you stream to TV with a Roku, like iphones can stream with apple TV or androids can with comcast?

Passport supports Miracast, so you can steam content from your device to a smart TV. If you don't have a smart TV, you'll need to buy a Miracast adapter for your TV. It's very simple and works quite well.

don't count on using it with amazon fire tv, it "says" it supports it, it doesn't
Steaming works to our Chromecast using the Android app...
The Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter has worked great with my Q10.
It's a but pricey, but works great.

I am wondering this same thing. I just bought the Amazon Fire TV stick as it seemed to be supported. But I can't even get it to see the device. Also, the Fire TV remote app won't find or connect to the tv.
Anyone have ideas or does it simply not work?
Someone mentioned that it did not work.
This probably helps answer the OP's question.

Don't they supply a little WiFi stick for amazon fire TV? And all you would have to do is set up your phone as a hotspot?
