Thanks,
It might not be your GPS at fault at all. I had a similar issue with the 10.3.1 updates and although very helpful, BlackBerry couldn't find a fix for it. I noticed that the GPS icon was on all the time despite me not using it and from that I deduced that something was interfering with GPS function. I opened and closed each app I used with GPS functionality, whether for location reporting or something a little more substantial, and discovered an app called Poynt wasn't turning off properly. I deleted the app after many attempts to fix it and my BlackBerry Maps is working perfectly once again. So take a look at all your apps that rely on a GPS connection and see if any of them are failing to turn off when closed or are just interfering in general, it's more likely to be an Android app or sloppy port not playing well with the new Runtime. Find it, delete it, hopefully that'll fix it for you.
