    Hello there,

This is my first post at Crackberry.

I just got a Passport, and absolutely love the device.

I am trying to install the play store from Cobalt's landing page and am unable to login to my google account, I keep getting the message 'There was a problem communicating with Google Servers'.

I have uninstalled my account, reinstalled it, tried web login, tried logging in over wifi, over mobile network, two step verification from my account is off, but it just wont let me in.

I have even checked my regional time and date settings, kept the location services on, still nothing works.

Oh yes and my amazon appstore keeps crashing

    Can someone please help?

    Cheers.

You can try updating the OS to the latest, using autoloader method. Please look around the BlackBerry 10 OS and Leak OS to find out more.

You need Cobalt's Google Play store thread and read the first page.

Which one is better? Install Google play store or snap?

The answer depends on which app you want to use. Snap really only helps you find and download Android apps.

If the app you want to use connects to Google Play Services it might work with reduced functionality with Cobalts excellent work around. It also might not work at all.

Even with Cobalts GPS stuff installed some Android apps will never work because of their dependences.

Welcome to the world of BB10. The finest core operating system there is with minor app support.
