Can I make q toggle between normal and vibrate?

On old blackberries there was wsy to do this as I have no need for silent.

Fk if I could do this, I would probably even start having different led colors and vibrate patterns for contacts and dif accounts.

Otherwise for me, bb10 on passport is better in every way. Except that bbm is no longer that popular :(

Yes you can...

Swipe down from the top > settings>notifications><star at the bottom for "quick settings>'tick' vibrate... then you'll have it available to you from the 'notifications' tab in the top swipe down.

NOTE**** The 'button' has two parts to it. The bell toggles the choices and the right side is the settings. Have fun playing around and learning.

Open Notifications and hit the Star at the bottom called Quick Settings. Check the Settings you want to toggle through and uncheck the ones you don't want.

I know about that but holding q still only toggles normal and silent.

I used to use the "Q" key shortcut to toggle in and out of vibrate mode for meetings all the time on my BlackBerry Torch. This would be a great feature to bring back imho

Sorry you can't. I would have wanted this feature also, because I still want my notifications to vibrate even when on Silent.

What I did is I just modified the Silent profile to still vibrate. Under Silent profile, go to Custom App Notifications, and choose the app that you want its notifications to vibrate (eg, text, phone, email, etc) and slide ON the vibrate option for each.

Now you can have vibrate even if you can only toggle between normal and silent.

Good work around for now.

I would like the Q toggle to respect the order in the quick settings list. Same as it does when you swipe down the settings from the top and toggle the notifications. It lets you reorder the list. So the Q can toggle position one and position two.
