    Friends,

I was using Bold 9900, moved to BB Passport and I'm really finding it difficult to manage with-out "PUSH MAIL" which we had 0s7(Bold9900). Though I knew BB Passport OS10 wouldn't support "Push Mail", now I'm getting email very lately, as due to sometime Poor-3G Internet coverage., Some times I get only "subject" of the email and message of email takes more than 5 minutes to appear.

Can someone please help with some good-suggestion., I heard of BES, should I pay and get the service from Blackberry to activate the BES, if then would I get Push Emails and also what would be cost involved to get the minimum BES System.

    Please help & advice

Do you have push turned on in your settings or do you have them set up to sync at a specific time frame.

What service are you using? I get emails almost instantly even with gmail as IMAP which doesn't support active sync push. There is no more old BBOS push.

Yes. That's an option however, data is on US servers. I offer a Canadian option. Cheers

Are you using POP3 by chance? If so, that's your problem.

If not, what is your email setup?

Go to settings, accounts, choose your email account and there should be an option to turn on push if supported.

OP what email provider do you use? Push email availability will depend mostly on the provider

BIS never had true push but was the first service to provide push capabilities to POP3 email which doesn't support push. It was a great idea and provided reasonable timely delivery. With IMAP push and EAS that both offer true push for not only email but also contact and tasks. This has been supported since the 1st release of BB10. A physical phone is not what support push email but rather the OS. If your email provider only provides POP3, then you will have to forward to a true push email account. Hopefully your email provide supports either IMAP push or EAS as that is the best means for instant push email, contacts and calendar events.

This is why I won't give up my BB 9900. I carry it and an iPhone, so I know when the mail arrives. I hate going to work when a customer calls to cancel and isn't going to show up anyway.

Set up you sync time frame for longer time period. Other than that, push option is just above it.

You post is a bit confusing!? Emails arrive rather fast as they are sent and received! Typically there is no delay and I've been using BlackBerry devices since os 5!
