I know that there has to be a way to backup my passport without having link or blend on my PC (Windows 10 crap) I just wanted to see if there is a way to do so that surely works and is being used by many people having the BlackBerry backup software problems.

Yes I am. The only annoyance is that the upload to a cloud server is a bit slow (especially if you have limited bandwidth, to be expected, I guess). I do 2 backups, one to a cloud server, and one to an sd drive. SD drive backup is quick--cloud not so much.

So I coughed up $3.99 and so far it seems ok. Wish I could back up to my mega account but I can live with the sd card for now.

It seems that Backup Pro backs up to Mega too! I don't use it - just read it in the 'Details' of the App on BBW!

BlackBerry Link doesn't work on my Windows 10 computer so I was just about to pull the trigger and buy backup pro since I have Mega but after I read the latest reviews I'm a little skeptical on purchasing this app at this time.

Link also stopped working for me from a few days back - from the timing, it seems to have stopped working after a Windows10 Update by MS. I read somewhere that installing the latest Blend Software seems to also install an Update for Link. I tried that earlier today - downloaded the latest version of Blend from Blackberry.Com and when I got to install it, it did seem to have an Update for Link too. After the installation of the latest version of Blend on my Laptop, Link also seems to be working again!! I hope this helps!

Since yesterday Blend and Link started working again via wifi, but not USB. MacOS 10.12.1. I'd given up a few weeks ago, might have something to do with Apple, I had a similar problem with Canon Utility which also started working without doing anything to Canon's software. On Link Back up now and Restore are greyed out though.

I tried your suggestion. No joy. What is interesting is that backup pops up an error indicating that my device is not connected, yet all other features work as well as Blend proving that my device is connected. Backup is the only feature of Link that fails. I guess it is Ultimate Backup time.

Ummmmm yes? BlackBerry Link does a complete backup of every single feature, option and application on your phone....

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one with Link issues....windows vista (yes ancient) and phone just doesn't want to connect...seems that even in mass data storage mode, the phone doesn't show in 'my computer' unless first connected in link....absolute ball ache...
