750 wouldn't hurt so much if that wasn't identical to the iPhone 6 and s5 active. (Fwiw, the regular s5 is 730 - 20$ less than passport. Have fun getting people to switch when their device is equal or less in price.)

Contract prices are
Ip6 $264, s5active $250, passport $250-50, s5 100$.

Here in Canada , only Telus has it listed for $750. At BestBuy.ca and FutureShop it's listed at $999, which has to be on a Telus plan anyway.

Their systems just probably force them to have the item within it the morning when they boot, so they probably made them ridiculously overpriced so that no one would buy it until release...

Those are my thoughts, otherwise I can't understand the over pricing

How was the camp out? I just stopped at a telus retailer here in town, and they didn't even have a device in stock. The rep thought that she did, but couldn't find it. There wasn't even a demo / dummy unit. Heck there wasn't even a spot set up for it.
