I've searched the forums and the net and none of the "solutions" (i.e. let the battery drain to zero, reformatting my SD card) provided have fixed the problem. The application won't load even after running an autoloader and a security wipe.

I do not believe it's the hardware because of the attached. I've put it back to stock basically with no third apps. This would be the 2nd phone with a camera issue (1st had a camera mechanical issue) that I would have to replace. Is there anything else anyone can suggest here?

    Thanks in advance!

sounds like a hardware issue to me. If you have no camera app or photo apps running, i don't see why it won't work. What does your carrier say?

I'm abroad at the moment and am trying not to have to send it back to the US for the shop BlackBerry to swap it again.

    1) holding volume up and down buttons until the device reboots.

    2) check out the app permissions to see if any apps have permission. Change the permission or remove the apps.

    3) do an OS reload thru Link. Factory resets don't fix issues. Factory resets only clean out information. But OS reloads actually fix application files while cleaning out information.

I'm not sure if you read my OP, but:

    1) Does nothing

    2) The phone is in stock status with no applications with permissions, so this doesn't apply.

    3) I've done a security wipe and an autoloader putting the phone back to stock, and nothing.

I'm starting to agree with Jaydee as even the BBVE Says there is a possible hardware issue after running all the tests. I will try the attached that I found earlier today and if nothing I will send it back and request a new phone.

Have you used Link to reinstall the OS?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Autoloader is usually a non official OS?

There are official autoloaders as well. But either way I reloaded through link and it's the same drill.

Therefore I will have to send it back. Mods please close this thread.
