Calendar Sync?
Coming from an iPhone - all I ever did was hit Sync and then iTunes would sync my Outlook desktop app to my iPhone once I'd set that up...
But - I can not find out how to do that on my new Passport? Doesn't appear to be an option I can work with in Blackberry Blend or????
Pointer here lads?

Does your computer Outlook sync with Outlook.com?? That would then sync to the phone I think. Not a windows user or outlook user so I don't know for sure, but it is an option when setting up accounts on the Blackberry.
CB10 via Passport Swiping

Outlook.com syncs beautifully with BlackBerry calendar.

I assume you're using Outlook desktop connected to some cloud-based service (corporate or otherwise). If so, don't connect your Passport to the desktop, rather connect it to that service. Then you will have full sync at both ends, wrielessly. Perhaps I misunderstand.

Welcome to BBRY and to Crackberry, JV.
Yes, that's one of my biggest complaints. Before OS10, my Blackberrys would sync with Outlook running on my desktop and that included memos and the task list. With OS10, BBRY initially dropped USB sync and attempted to force everyone to sync with a cloud service. Later, they added sync via a USB cable, but it doesn't work very well.
Basically, the company doesn't seem to care and most of the responses on forums will tell you to put all your data online and trust the cloud because that's the "best" way to use today's technology regardless of how many news reports you see about cloud accounts being hacked or what you want to do with your data. Yes, I am an unhappy customer, even though I prefer BBRY to any other options out there and I will buy a Passport as soon as AT&T gets around to offering them.
If you don't want to move to the cloud, your best bet is to buy some third-party software like Sync BB10 with Outlook Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, Notes -- CompanionLink Software

I use Outlook. 365 and outlook 2010. Works great. The only thing you have to is add your Google email into the phone and pick what you want sync. Calendar and email work great z10 or anything. DO NOT Use link to sync contacts and email. Outlook will do that for you automatically. Gmail calendar blends right into BB10 calendar. FYI To add Gmail calendar in Outlook 2010. Follow instructions from Google. Add the cal link to you outlook 2010 account.

If you have plain old outlook 2010. No active exchange. Put your email address in the phone and it may find all the settings and sync.
