I just got an pop notification for one of my calendar events when I am using my phone. What surprised me was, there were no sound or vibration associated with it.

I checked the system notification settings for calendar and it looked normal to me.

    Any suggestions?

    Calendar notification is somehow silented-img_20150120_135051.png

Is your volume up? I know it sounds silly, but often I find that I don't have my volume up all the way because I lowered it to watch a video.

If not volume, toggle the Sound setting above off, then on. This happened to me, and after lots of frustration, a simple toggling of the sound worked.

Do you have a competing settings application? Something like hub++ or power tools that would allow you to modify or customize notifications? If so, you may have conflicting settings.

Yes! I do have power tools installed. Let me check if I can figure out the conflict.

Can't find anything in Power Tools that seems to be related to calendar notifications. Would you or anyone who are familiar with this app shed some light?
