Anyone know why my Calendar app keeps crashing when I try and add an appointment in 2016? As soon as I hit the + add the app crashes. I'm running 10.3.2836 on an AT&T Passport. Thanks

It happens to me on my Q5.
The only solution I found was to change the profile to Day view in order to add or edit an appointment.

OK I did that. It works as you specified. However I also added week numbers to the calendar and now it seems to allow me to make appointments even if not in day view. Very odd indeed. Must be a glitch with the latest OS?

Never mind. Once I close the app it crashes again. Thanks.

The Day setting is the only method I've found that prevents the crashing problem. Once I've made the calendar entry or edit, then I go back to the Agenda view, which is my favorite

I also like the agenda setting. This is rather unfortunate. I hope it gets resolved quickly. Thanks for your help.

I have the same build and I cannot reproduce what you said....works for me.
Have you try rebooting the phone?
doesn't matter what I choose, month, day, week or agenda. All works for 2016
Interesting... could this be an isolated issue for two users?

my phone is turned off every night...How about yours?
Also, when I set it up I went clean. No back up if that makes a difference
My calendar app crashes repeatedly also, and has been since the last two OS updates. I can edit maybe one or two appointments, then on the next attempt to add or edit an appointment, the app crashes. It doesn't matter what view the calendar is in. Now running 10.3.2.2836

Try again using the Day view when editing or adding appointments. It is the only way that doesn't crash the calendar for me.

I'll see if that makes a difference. I spent several hours the other day reloading the OS and then restoring a backup, thinking that might help. How does this "glitch" get into the hands of BlackBerry so that it can be fixed, I wonder?

It's happening to me regularly. Is everyone having this problem on Microsoft Exchange sync?

Nope, I confirm this glitch for the Month view wit Z10STL100-2/10.3.2.2876
I have the Passport SE, and started using it from scratch. (No android apps, nor restored previous backups.) I've configured my iCal calendar. If I minimize the Calendar app, after some time, my Passport reboots itself. If I don't run the Calendar minimized, my PP is rock solid. Now, I removed the iCal account from the Calendar, testing if the problem is with the Calendar app, or I should not use iCloud's iCal. Anyone have problems like me?

Well, it seems that the culprit is the Calendar app. :(
An empty Calendar, minimized, causes a reboot on my new Passport SE. I did a security wipe before started to use the device. I'm using it with the latest official OS release. The same Calendar works great and stable on my Q10. I hope, there'll be a fix for that!

I'm using the exchange sync. I have no problems. Everythings runs smooth.
Software version: 10.3.2.2836
OS version: 10.3.2.2876
I suggest to download and install 2876 again. Use the autoloader ...

Good luck !
ยป RESTART!
Solves all kinds of foolish problems with OS10. It's not just because of the upgrade, it's the faulty Calendar app since the dawn of OS10. Never had issues with previous OS versions.

Mine does too. Crashes when hit add new.
I'll usually do a restart and things settle down.
Too bad we can't do <alt> LGLG anymore.
