Hi i bought a bb passport from germany on ebay but the phone is lock at this screenphone. I had contact ebay and paypal assistance. Can i use this phone in some ways? Thanks so much

You'll need to contact the seller and have them turn off BlackBerry Protect for that device.

Hopefully the seller contacts you back; if they don't just explain to PayPal that the seller sold you a locked device and hasn't replied to requests to unlock. It's a paperweight unless the seller takes care of that.

That's not really a surprise as BlackBerry are known for their security and if you could bypass this it would have been big news.

Have you loaded 10.3.3.2049 first? It didn't work for me either until I did that.

Download the autoloader for the passport; I think there's a link there. Unzip the file to get a .exe file. Connect the device to your pc and run the executable file

I am going to post here the solution.
When your Passport ask you to enter Blackberry Id you just enter a Gmail account if you have, if not open new gmail account somewhere else,Pc or other mobile phone then enter 10 times a wrong password.After 10 times of entering wrong password just shut down your Passport and wait to fully shut down then switch your phone again and setup new Blackberry Id or bypass it and enter later in settings.Hope you will succeed

Switch on passport, connect to wifi... enter my gmail account with wrong passwird for ten times... then switch off.... then switch on and enter the sane account gmail with right password.... its ok the procedure?
