That was a good assessment from a truly business point of view. I especially love this line when he referred to iP6: "The phone [...] is going to come out looking like the mirror image of your (bottom)." Made me laugh.

That was a good review. Nice to finally see someone get what BlackBerry is trying to accomplish with the Passport, and not just bash it because it looks different.

"when you combine the primary goals of being attractive and inexpensive to build, you will make some ugly trade off" what a bunch of bs. Only 9 out of 10 million devices were reported bent.

That's a load of BS and everyone knows that! There's over a hundred YouTube videos of them with usually a couple in each, plus only about 5% of people would actually go to the trouble to actually make a video of their problems! I have a feeling Apple is playing it coy on those numbers due to their recent market losses. . .

Finally a more "scientific" report. Too bad no BlackBerry phones were included.

I felt the iPhone 6 and 6 plus in my hands and I would not be confident that they would be robust enough for daily use. Just too delicate for me. I would not even considering getting th for my kids because of pm how rough they are with devices. I would much rather select a robust device.

"In the end, both products showcase two things: some of the dangers of using a consumer product for business and that this isn?t a one-size-fits-all market. It never really was, despite Apple?s hope that it could convince us otherwise."

Perfectly said. Smartphones are not a one product fits all. I don't use an Iphone cuz it doesn't do what I need it to. Or it doesn't do it as effectively as my Passport. And didn't it used to be cool to be different? I think the hipsters are disillusioned to the fact that they are the new norm, and the norm is usually not that cool.

You see, in that video you posted. They are applying pressure directly in the middle of the devices. But we all know that, that isn't the weak point. It's higher on the phone near the volume buttons. If they applied pressure there, then I'm sure the weight would be around 60 pounds before bending permanently.

I do think it's great so have many devices doing this test, and I'm so glad to see that the iPhone 5s did MUCH better than the iPhone 6. Definatly a much better device and just shows that thinner, doesn't always mean better.

I am sure apple is using the government approach of less said the better in this debacle!!!!! They screwed up with their design and now are back pedaling saying just nine.........sure!
