I have Firefox on my Q10, it's okay but slow. Maybe the Passport's improved specs solves that issue.

Can download Firefox APK directly on BB10: https://download.mozilla.org/?produc...oid&lang=multi

Hi guys, May I ask..Which browsers do you for your passport? And How many browsers do you use? And why do have to use more than a browser?
I have tried Google Chrome and I found actually it is quite OK for the Web that I often search.
    Anyway thanks for your ideas

I use the blackberry browser or chrome. Chrome always tells me to install play services but it is installed and it works.
Check out Polarity. Very similar to Chrome but very light weight, no play services dependencies, ad blocking, etc.

    BlackBerry browser.

In the native browser, there is a (though) small "back" button.

Is there a "forward" button? I cannot find it ....
There are different shortcuts... P to go back to the previous page and N to go to the next one. Then L to reload the page, T to got to the top of the page and B to the bottom. K opens the bookmarks and G the recent pages. S to search

I recently installed an Opera on my "new" Passport and I would recomment it.
Native browser is wulnerable in meaning of all those blinking/ flying adverts. Firefox either. I used firefox 25 before, but there is no posibility to install add ons like adblock or noscript, as they are no longer compatible with an old FF and can not work properly with higher than 25 too. I do not longer use native browser since I put 9900 to the draw... Why?
There is an just ONE click in Opera which blocks all adverts, you just simply go to settings and tick on "block adverts" and they all disappear!
There is nothing more annoying that all that silly stuff you have jumping around your screen so I definitelly stick to Opera this time as unlike the PC version on BB it works like nothing else.

What could be better than bb10 native browser? Something that runs under android runtime is always slower. Some sites like anandtech does not open properly with native browser though

Hi I use the native browser with no issues and the Alpha browser that also works very well for me. I also use both of these on my Z10 with no problems or issues. Rocking 24-7 with my Passport SE and Semi Retired Z10

Ikr. Of course, only native BB10 is better when it comes to browser. Why would we or anyone should change that? If they want full Chrome experience, better use android phone instead.

I've tried them all, the only one that I've found that works just as good as the Blackberry browser but is up to date is a browser called Polarity browser. Really fast, lightweight, and has everything like addblock and full desktop mode. It also does not need Google services, that's nice and has a dark theme that matches what I use on Duckduckgo.

I just wrote a whole sentence and my screen got really big and the above was all that came out. Here it is again.

I use the native browser and Zeus mostly. Youtubes crash in the native browser after playing for a while, in Zeus they keep on going.

I use the other ones too sometimes to listen to audio on one while browsing on the other.
