    Here are the pictures from my passport which are almost always blur.

    Are there any settings that cause this issue? Can the came software be reloaded from somewhere.

    Look at the picture closely.

    Is any part of that pic focused?

    And there are ways.
    Tap screen to focus
    And tap hold to focus

    Just hold the camera shutter while focusing on your target object... once it gets the right focus i.e. green box, release the 'shutter'...

    Shutter is the button you press to take a pic. It works like a digital camera: you press and hold until it focuses, and then release to take the pic.

    Someone did say the camera++ software is an improvement. I own it, but haven't used it to be able to chime in. You can buy it in the app store.

    The camera does not focus, it keeps flickering unable to lock on any object. I have downloaded camera++ app, but the issue remains.

    If you use the camera like a point and shoot, you will always get blurry pics. The camera is actually very good. I took pics this morning at my daughter's baseball game and I can see the seams on the baseball.
