Happy holidays to all. I just bought a blackberry passport. And my keypad buttons are not responding to the touch. Only when I press on them. Is there way of enabling the touch for the buttons? Thank you.

Swipe down from the top, tap settings, scroll down to Language and Input, then scroll down to Touch Enabled Keyboard:

I don't: have any issues with the touch enabled keypad, but I don't have that option either, I am running the stock 10.3.0.1418 OS.

You do realize that the keyboard isn't touch, you have to actually press the button?

You can only use the keyboard to scroll in apps if the DEV enabled it for his/her app.

Hmm.. Maybe OP should define what kind of response that he wants. Do you want to type the buttons without having to press the button? If that is so, it is impossible.

Looks like disabling the touch sensitive keyboard gestures is only in 10.3.1,.. my bad.

OP, are you able to scroll up/down using the keyboard? As others have mentioned, the touch sensitivity is only being used for swipe-type gestures, not for actual typing without mechanically depressing the keys.

If you can't scroll with the keyboard then it sounds like you do need to call BlackBerry.

What app is this a problem in?
Do you have the crackberry app - CB10? If you have version 1.7.1.0 of CB10 the keyboard will allow you to scroll through posts. Try that see if that works!

You can flick one of the three *words* that are suggested at the top of the keyboard, but you can't tap or flick individual keys/letters.
