Just had to load a new OS on my dad's Z30. I cannot get BlackBerry World to allow a single download or update. Ohio USA. Anyone else still having this problem?

Nope, still dead here. Hopefully will come back soon if some people have seen it already.
No, I won't be going to Key2. I have a couple of 'droids to see what life is like there and it is horrible. I dread picking them up and using them. I accept I may have to move on by next year but it won't be Android.

It started working in Texas, USA about 2 hours ago. Was able to download without a problem.

Dead on my Passport in Romania. They said end of 2019 but they meant August 2018. Back to my Android phone. This was the last nail in the coffin.

Maybe there were sold too many OS10 devices like Passport and Classic via Amazon, Saturn, MediaMarkt a.o. in the last month. Now they try to frustrate these customers and try to force them to change to KeyOne or KeyTwo. But they ride the name "BlackBerry" in the dirt...

The same here in Kenya, I can connect to Blackberry World but can not download and update apps. shows network error, even when I am on wifi.

I had asked this question before. I am thinking of buying a second hand Passport but I am not certain if I could use it for mainly e mails and texting only apart from voice call and whatsapp from Android.
Could somebody highlight this to me?

Fix network error while downloading apps from bb appword. You can fix this issue easily.
1. Go to settings and click open "Payment options"
2. Enter password of bb ID and verify
3. On the right corner below click the three dots and select advanced
4. Enable "BlackBerry World Enable Logging"
5. You can download apps from bb appworld now.

It worked for me on BB Passport.

you can do :
1. email more than one accounts you want
2. whatsapp apk on version 2.18.154 so nice working on blackberry passport with bgshell patch or whatsfix (you can use BGwhatsapp)

yes, it does. you will see notification whatsapp chat there. but I think just one notification for all chat.
example : I have more chat, 4 privat chat and 2 chat group. I just see one notification, no more , it just represent all chat

Any way to customise the sound of that generic notification of whatsapp and other like telegram. They are not implement on hub but they work like generic notifications.
