Any hopes of seeing a 16:9 Qwerty BlackBerry in the future?
Posted via My Beast Q10
Wait, what? That would be a massive let-down! That would totally interfere with a good blind-typing experience...BlackBerry 10 signed.
Which OS version is this?

Yes.But lets hope BlackBerry compensate that with some innovation in keyboard.

Since there is no ALT key, I'm guessing symbols are always present.
How does the virtual shift key work? Is it just one of the symbol key which let us then type capital letters?
Now I think I got it!
Once you keep your finger on a letter the screen shows a range of possible variations and you slide your finger on the keyboard and when you pull your finger it selects the last letter you were upon (no physical interaction on the screen so it's still a totally full keyboard experience not a mixed experience where you have to leave the keyboard and reach for the screen)
Thanks again for all the tips!

no, MIFINN mentioned to me on BBM you have to touch the screen.
Yes, maybe under the keyboard :). ?

Well, then i'm skeptical.
Don't like the idea of going back and forth to the screen, but will buy it for the extra screen after all so i'll see and manage to get used to it.

@BroncoVal. LMAO!! I'm just like you...I'm going to buy the device anyways and judge for myself. This thing is so intriguing....im excited about BlackBerry again!! When it comes to innovation BlackBerry in my opinion is on the top of their game. The sales and accolades will follow....

Yes.There have been a very serious hype around this mystery device. BlackBerry should market atleast this monster and revive past glory.
I genuinely feel q30 have that complete look.On the hardware side as well as the s/w side(OS 10.3)

While I think such a screen size would be good for the medical field, the fact that the major apps used by doctors are not available for BB10 may still be a big turn off. I suppose one could download the Android versions, but there is no guarantee they will work or get critical updates.

How is the build quality ? Does it look nice? Or too square-ish and strange ?

Do you have the production version or just the dev device?

So much hype around this device! Can't wait to see it!

I haven't been as hyped to buy a device as I am about the Windermere in years. I hope that we can use the keyboard for easier copy and paste ala a trackpad. Beyond that, this device looks awesome!

The Q30 is a nice device based on specs and software, but those leaked pics make it seem like it has weird ratios. The keyboard and screen look off maybe in needs to be taller with a silver chin like the z30.

Where did all mifinn's post go?

The BlackBerry Mafia got to him... he showed, and told a little too much.
Haha, I'm assuming he took it down, or he got in trouble...?

John Chen got to him

The guy had what looked to be his picture as his avatar. Let's ask ourselves if that was smart to do.
