I use my pebble watch! One of the best watches that work with BlackBerry.

I'm like a lot of others, and have no use for a smart watch. My trusty 10 year old Breitling keeps perfect time.

Make a BB10 7.0" tablet, with a full size USB port on the bottom middle of the device. That's what we need.

I wear this a lot. Swimming, washing the car, at the race track, golfing. Tough as a hammer, waterproof to 100 metres. No need for Blackberry to make watches. Making a Passport "Slim" might be a better idea.

Very nice. My Daytona has a few scratches and dings that I am proud of. Some came from the race track as well.

I'd rather spend my money on a quality watch like this
Blackberry Watch?-img_20150428_195214.jpg or my gshock watch which can take a beating and then some and still get the job done

You can't even purchase it on their site yet!

It's released in Canada, but you can't buy it yet?

    Duh. Wake up BlackBerry.

Until it's a full phone, like a Z50, curved around my wrist or something that does everything comfortably and can easily be removed, then I'm not really all that interested atm.

But that could just be an old way of thinking. Like I'm sure there were some who thought who needs DVD when I can watch a movie just fine on my VHS lol. I think wearables will evolve into something more than a watch and someone will innovate that but for now I just don't want to carry more than I need.

Anyone watch ReBoot as a kid, with "Glitch" just being able to pop on and off Bob's arm? I'd like that, maybe.. if the phone could just stick on my wrist somehow. Perhaps I'll just wear a Curve on an armband for now (it's my mp3 player)

I don't think it would be wise for BlackBerry to invest their R&D resources in developing a smart watch. Remember that they are focused on enterprise solutions at this time and not really targeting the consumer market, so it would make no sense for them to develop such a product and I honestly don't think that even if they did develop a smart watch that it would sell that well.

    Just my two cents.

There are enough watches out the someone needs to make an app so that the watches work with BlackBerry devices

No thanks. BlackBerry need to focus on a few hardware devices and significantly improved software. A BlackBerry is a vanity project only!

We need a BB10 tablet regardless. Get a move on BlackBerry!

    BB10 tablet please.

P.S. Maybe if BlackBerry starts to make us stuff we actually want, they'd sell stuff.

    Duh...

Ya, ok, whatever you say people.

BlackBerry sells lots of devices and software, as well as BES services.

Those who think otherwise, must own an Apple product.

They are releasing phones with similar specs for consecutive years to keep costs down, you think they would create a new line of products with entirely different parts requiring additional sourcing, design and development costs to let the costs skyrocket?
