I use bb10 because it's not Google, however BlackBerry is forcing us back to Google. If vzw ever gets a priv, I'll give it a look but LG g4 or 5 might be the next one I get. Until I see a priv, I'll hang on to my z30, and then I may go with something else. If BlackBerry would update their bb10 browser I'd be as happy to keep using my z30. The browser really is getting bad.
Posted with my still awesome z30.
I am actually still upset with BB for pulling the Playbook and taking so long to come out with BB10. At the end of 2014, I left my Z10 and went to an LG - one year+ later I am back to PP SE because of the operating system (Hub), app security, and pkb. I want to support the BB App dev guys and want to see BB keep BB10 because of its unique and granular features in a dangerous world online. I uninstalled the native FB on the PP and added the new FB app for BB10. I can disable access to my contacts, etc.
Google wants your data and will entice you to give it up with their free garbage apps that ask for too much of your information. Manage your app choices wisely!
Back after Android try. Less apps = more control of my privacy. Pkb, Hub, and ease of use is best, along with solid hardware.

Performance. No company has my loyalty, they are not family. They need to prove their products do as stated. My Passport has my stamp of approval but other BlackBerry products may not.

Product ,performance, price , service support plus the BB10 OS is the best money can buy. All these factors translate into loyalty.
I'm too a loyal blackberry customer for the past 5 years. I had the torch 9860 with the then 7.1 OS. I used it till very recently like till last week. Along with that I had got z3 with latest 10.3.1, and now a proud owner of Awesome BlackBerry Passport with 10.3.2.2876. Also upgraded my z3 to same OS as Passport, so yes to answer I'm a complete admirer and loyalist of blackberry.
Will continue to be supporting and purchasing their devices till they are making it and are involved in its production. This device is a beast, able to multitask literally, powerful CPU, beast of battery, awesome interface, brilliant display huge ram, superb inbuilt memory..... totally loving this awesome device......
Thanks for asking

I use my Q because it is the best tool for my needs. The size, the changeable battery, the PKB, the efficiency of messaging, and of course, it works out of the box. I do not need to search for file managers, browsers, etc.
To be fair, if I was more into consumption, I would likely use an iPhone.
As for loyalty, there is some. After all, BB has done a good job for me, so when looking for another phone, I would look first to BB. However, at this very moment, I know there are no other phones that answer my needs. No upgraded newer Q's. So, once the stockpile of Q&s are finished, as much as I hate to write the words, I am likely done with BB.
BlackBerry devices have always suited my needs and because of that I'm loyal to the brand.

Sad to think we are living in a day and age, where so much emphasis is placed on the 'popularity' of your mobile device versus how it fulfills your needs. I have a BlackBerry Passport by choice. It does what I need...if that is not compelling enough, then you have 'given' into whatever marketing and/or personal inadequacies of your peers, to let you live life as you please.
I will confess to some loyalty to BB, that did influence me, also a consideration is that it's a CANADIAN company.
Once I got into my Classic I started appreciating it for its functionality as well.
Started with BlackBerry only last august, but mainly cause of having a pkb! ... then started see and understand the OS and loved it more and more - coming from webOS this is the only one that can compete in my eyes; this said having had a Galaxy Note 3 for an year!
... meanwhile feeling a bit loyalty, but this comes always, with stuff you like...!

Not performance or loyalty, I like the phone, simples.
No, I came over from Android because I saw how good the PP was. One of my buddies got it as soon as it was released and I was very impressed and knew right then it was going to be my next phone.
Yes!! Dozens...

The passport is the best phone on the market today, and I didn't jump ship, Blackberry did.
More likely loyalty but probably both

Keyboard is what is keeping me here with a blackberry phone.
I'm loyal to the brand, but I wouldn't buy a priv hahaha. I have blackberries because they're there when I need to get work done and honestly its the best tool for communication.
All I need is a phone, the hub, and a few apps. Besides that I want to keep my phone as a communication device, not an annoying piece of tech.

Big Red is just an amazing device. I hope it lasts forever. It meets all my needs and I have no desire to look at another smartphone.

There is no other.
No.
I use it because it is good to use.

I got the Priv two months back after having BB10 for years before that. Tried to embrace Android as the way forward. Came back to the Passport with a renewed appreciation.
It is just more efficient and effective for work. No great reliance on apps. Snap took care of those I need.
So no, I don't use Passport as a 'loyalist'. I use it because it works better and suits me.
