Hello folks. So I downloaded Blackberry Travel from BBW and am trying to register. It is stuck on "Set Home Location" wheel is spinning and it will not find my city, it is a major Canadian city. Have searched here and on the Internet. From what I gather it should be working. Is it? And if so, how do I procede? Thanks in advance,

Oh, what does that mean? Is it available from Yalp or Amazon? Why would it still be available for download?

If not available, what are you folks using as a substitute?

I use TripCase on my K2 and also use to use it on my 9900. Is there a way to load it on the Passport?

    Thanks,

Not really helpful. We all know what the reality is. If you have a suggestion for another like app, then that would be helpful. Cheers,

I used to love BlackBerry Travel too. Unfortunately, the app whose database/servers it used (and whose name I've now forgotten) is gone, and nothing ever replaced it for use on a BB10 device.

Unfortunate for sure. And since TripCase only works for Android 4.4 and above do we even have an alternative? Really, really trying not to go back to my K2. Time will tell. Aside from apps, some people have no idea how good the OS actually is and how much better than the Droidberry's it performs, thus they bash it out of hand. Thanks,

Not sure who is bashing BB10. Most people here are long time BB10 users. Overtime some have switched as the OS has aged with few updates. If BB10 meets your needs, keep using it and don't worry about anyone else.

I have been daily driving it for the last 3 weeks. It's a fenomenal OS. Working wide is highly addictive. It's a challenge but I'm for it. We shall see,

The form factor certainly does generate attention. With my K2 I had someone comment once in just over a year.

Blackberry Travel was an excellent app when it was working but sadly was deep-sixed about a year ago. Here is a CB article: https://crackberry.com/five-best-and...lackberry-fans . There is no android app that will work on your Passport unfortunately.

Yah I have to agree, when it worked, it was the best.
I thought it wasn't just BlackBerry, the whole company behind the app service closed up?

I am not sure. I got the pro version of TripIt from work. It is awesome and works better and does more than the Google app.
