Please do so. They would all sell if offered in the North American market.

Would anyone else here buy them if it was known to be the final batch?

I'm sure if the OP offered BlackBerry the millions needed to fund another batch, they might be willing to produce more.

At this point, if you want another one, you'll need to buy used.

I for one, despite loving my Passport, couldn't see myself spending more than $100 for a new one or a repair.

I've been torn on this subject. I've sold multiple Passports now but then always find myself purchasing/trading back for one as it's just a device that has worked so well for me. Would I buy another new one? I'm really not sure. At the moment I have one so likely wouldn't but if I end up trading/selling again then I'd likely be in the market for one within the next few months! It's a vicious cycle.

So make more at higher cost since it is even lower production run than original and sell it for what?

Who would sell them? Blackberry is out of the hardware business. BlackBerry Mobile/TCL does not want to support BB10.

I just came back from a second interview a half hour ago, where a perspective client notice that I had a PPSE. As I was leaving, he asked if this was the new BlackBerry. I smiled and told him this is an older model, and the newer versions are no longer using BlackBerry10, just Android. Then he said "I'd rather buy that", pointing to the Passport and advise me to hold on to it. And he's not the first to say it. So yeah, If they were available and "supported", they still would sell. And even "as is" many would still buy them.

Unfortuantely, he said he rather buy that but probably owns an iPhone. Hence BB is in this state.

A few weeks ago I chose to buy a Passport SE rather than wait for the KEYOne. Glad I did. I myself will use and "support" a BB10 device while I still can, and enjoy doing so. I already have an Android as my business cell, and the only thing good about is that it's on Verizon.

If it was economically feasible to manufacture another batch, procuring a batch of 801 SOC and other old hardware components, BB still wouldn't do it. It'd put pressure on them to commit to an update beyond the ghost of 10.3.4 .
